Starting this new school year has been exciting, happy, sad, but as always...joyful.  There are many comings and goings with our staff...we will miss those moving on and welcome the wonderful new people who are joining us this year.  Special thanks to Ms. Sara Bichanich...her dedication and love for our school and all the people here has been inspiring...and to Mr. Dan Bell our amazing principle who said goodbye to us this past Friday...he has made an amazing and positive impact on our school...he will be missed very much!
     The computer lab has taken on a new look for this school year.  It is the same room, but is sure does look bigger.  Our new kindergarten students arrived for their first computer class.  It is always interesting to see the new students excited about lab.  Please remember to purchase headphones for your students if you have not already done so.  The smaller students are better suited with headphones rather than ear buds.  They will also need a zip lock bag with their name on it to keep them in.

     Thanks to all who donated books over the summer!!  I have been busy trying to find a place for them and get them ready for check out...We have many new and gently used books to offer our students this fall.  If you have any donations of new or gently used junior high books (like Hunger Games)  and want to donate them...please contact me through the school office.  I am also looking for bean bags for library too!

     Cheer leading practice will begin soon...updates on actual start date will be posted soon.  We are currently looking for monetary donations for new uniforms...thanks so much to Wendy Morland who held a garage over the summer and raised funds for our cause. 

     Drama Club will be holding auditions next week for our fall/winter play.  We have it narrowed down to a few plays...I will make the final selection on which one in the next day or so.
