Thank you so much for all who stopped by and supported the OLL Scholastic Book Fair.  Thanks to your support we were able to purchase new books for the library and for the classrooms as well!  Thank you to Leona Pliss and Lucia Stanley for helping out by working a turn at sales!  We will look forward to another book fair later in the spring. 
     The Benoit Cheese fundraiser went very well...thank you to all who purchased some of their tasty products.  The music booster club and cheerleaders thank you for kind support too!  Our new secretary, Mrs. Shelly did a great job putting everything together!  Hopefully we will be able to do another fundraiser with the Cheese Masters of Benoit!
     Our school newspaper, The Bruin Buzz, has taken off!  We are working on our December issue now.  We hope to have it for sale by Friday, November 20.  Our paper will be for sale during lunch time for a mere .25¢...we also sell them after school and can take orders if you would like to receive one...just contact me here at school.
     Computer classes are going well.  I do enjoy the excitement the younger students show on their faces when they finally learn to open a program themselves, paint a new picture on the paint program, or just when something clicks for them and they find that the computer is not broken...they just learned how to do a task the right way!  We continue to work on all grade appropriate lessons in Microsoft, keyboarding, and research.  The 8th grade has just completed their computer history papers and power point.  They will be presenting them after Thanksgiving break.
